1. 60th Annual Art in the Park
Join the Petaluma Arts Association as they present their 60th annual celebration of music and art in Walnut Park. Take a picnic, bring your chairs or blankets, and settle in for a day of wholesome fun. Enjoy live entertainment by a number of local musicians and stroll through a variety of works by local artists. The park will be filled with artwork by local painters, photographers, jewelers, sculptors, and metal artists. These creations will be also available for sale and you can meet the artists. Children are ore than welcome with art activities for them to enjoy.

2. Fan Fest - Second Sunday Family Fun Series
Beginning on September 10 and running the second Sunday of each month through May, the City of Rohnert Park Community Services Department presents their new event series: Second Sunday Family Fun. Kicking off with the theme FAN FEST, September 10 happens to be the first day of the regular season for the National Football League. Everyone is encouraged to throw on their favorite sports team jersey. The 49er v. Panthers game will be screened, starting at 1:45 p.m. in the Sports Center Gymnasium (with food and adult beverages available for purchase). Out on the back lawn, dance to the 80's cover tunes of Aqua Nett from 1:30 to 4:00 p.m. The event will also feature the local talents of the Rancho-Cotate High School Marching Band and the Rohnert Park Warriors Football Cheerleaders! Children will have a fan-tastic time in the free Kidzone, full of outdoor group games, face painting, bubbles, and more. For added fun, families may purchase tickets to the Jump Zone featuring “Giant Inflatables” from PartyJump.

3. Cloverdale Car and Motorcycle Show
The 24th Annual Cloverdale Car and Motorcycle Show happens on September 8 and 9. The fun starts Friday night with a Cruise and live music by Johnny Vegas and the High Rollers in the Plaza. On Saturday, over 250 classic cars and motorcycles will line the boulevard. There will be fun for the whole family with the Bear Republic Pit Stop Beer and Souvenir booth, food booths and vendors. Don't forget to visit the local establishments, art galleries and history museum. Calpine will also give free tours at the Geysers from noon to 3 p.m.
